Description
The Lincoln Diner in Gettysburg Pennsylvania serves good, reasonably priced food year round, including two weeks before Christmas when this photo was taken. As an average sized town for central Pennsylvania it is not surprise that there is a diner present in Gettysburg, but the nature of tourism to the town due to the Battle of Gettysburg has caused this diner like so many other establishments in the town to name itself for Abraham Lincoln. It is in many ways a tie, back to the 1950s and 1960s, and the (generally white) tradition of the Great American Road Trip.
