The sun rises behind midrise apartments in the Texas Medical Center, part of the second downtown of Houston, Texas. Hermann Park is the crown jewel of the City of Houston's parks department and houses one of the top municipal golf courses in America.

Joshua House has been described as a photographer, a conservationist, a historian, and an adventurer. Having traveled and worked extensively across the country he is currently concentrating his photographic work in Eastern Texas, centered on Houston. His past creative work has included research, writing, and photography for the Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Illinois, Homestead National Monument of America in Nebraska, and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado.
