The Japanese Garden is a specialized garden set aside within Hermann Park in Houston Texas. Its central feature is the tea house and reflecting pond in front of it, where demonstrations of the tea ceremony are occasionally held. It is a popular location for engagement photos, meditative moments, and birdwatching.
About Joshua House
Joshua House has been described as a photographer, a conservationist, a historian, and an adventurer. Having traveled and worked extensively across the country he is currently concentrating his photographic work in Eastern Texas, centered on Houston. His past creative work has included research, writing, and photography for the Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Illinois, Homestead National Monument of America in Nebraska, and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado. As a conservationist he has worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the National Park Service.
