A flock of Bighorn Sheep graze along the floor of Echo Park in Colorado. The sheep have come down from their summer habitats and will likely spend their winter here in Echo Park, while Dinosaur National Monument's Colorado portion slowly begins to prepare for its winter hibernation. Soon snow will fall and the one paved road in the park will close. The ranger's station has already closed to visitors for winter, and the Yampa and Green are at their lowest levels of the year.
