Artist's Description
Life reaches forth from the tumult of war, as seen in this sculpture by Charles Adrian Pillars. Now, as the city has grown it has become in many ways a neighborhood park, where children play, and health classes meet, not focusing on the losses of a century ago, in a world that while not "safe for democracy", perhaps safer for democracy.
