The San Jacinto Monument outside Houston Texas recognizes the site where the Army of the Republic of Texas defeated Santa Ana's Mexican army south of Buffalo Bayou and west of the San Jacinto bay. The monument itself was completed in 1939, at a cost of 1.5 million dollars.
About Joshua House
Joshua House has been described as a photographer, a conservationist, a historian, and an adventurer. Having traveled and worked extensively across the country he is currently concentrating his photographic work in Eastern Texas, centered on Houston.
