A bronze frog and flower blossom reflect in the evening light in a Houston garden. Houston is in many ways a garden city, with parks and gardens that are open to the public in numerous parts of the city, from Hermann Park to Bayou Bend to the Arboretum. Spring brings events at many of these parks and gardens, that will have live music, drink tickets, and socializing.
About Joshua House
Joshua House has been described as a photographer, a conservationist, a historian, and an adventurer. Having traveled and worked extensively across the country he is currently concentrating his photographic work in Eastern Texas, centered on Houston. His past creative work has included research, writing, and photography for the Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Illinois, Homestead National Monument of America in Nebraska, and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado. As a conservationist he has worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the National Park Service.
